The Utah Jazz basketball player referred to the recovery after contracting coronavirus and being the first NBA player to test positive.
The NBA was shaken by the pandemic when Rudy gobert, player of Utah Jazz, was the first player to test positive for coronavirus. However, with the worst already left out, the basketball player returned to train and commented on his feelings.
In dialogue with L’Equipe, the basketball player said: “I have never spent so much time in my life without playing a game of basketball! I don’t know if that is the reaction of the virus. I am starting to train hard.”
He added: “I am not yet playing five against five, but I am training individually, boxing, swimming, running in the mountains. I would not say that I feel more tired than before.”
Finally, Gobert targeted the league and closed: “The NBA was waiting for a first case to stop the championship. I became the image of the coronavirus for the Americans, but it was not I who brought the virus to the United States.”
