The infraction committed against Bruno Fernandes was the 13th penalty for the Red Devils in 2019-20.
Manchester United received his 13th penalty in favor in the 2019-20 season, which is equivalent to a record of the Premier League for the largest number of shots from 11 meters in the same campaign.
Bruno Fernandes won a penalty kick in favor of the Red Devils during his visit to Aston Villa, when referee Jon Moss judged that Ezri Konsa fouled the Portuguese midfielder inside the area when attempting a turn. The ruling was maintained after a VAR review and Fernandes made it 1-0 partial.
With 13 penalties for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team in the top flight, United equaled two clubs: Leicester, in 2015-16 to become champion; and Crystal Palace during 2004-05.
