The undefeated British agreed the fight with his compatriot for 2021, although before he must defeat Deontay Wilder again.
Tyson Fury ensures that a two-fight agreement was reached with Anthony Joshua With a view to 2021, the two British heavyweight would face off for the first time.
The Manchester fighter, who comes from beating Deontay Wilder in February to win the WBC scepter, will thus unify the category titles with Joshua, who regained his IBF, WBA and WBO belts by defeating Andy Ruiz Jr. in December 2019.
Fury made a publication on social networks to announce said combat with his compatriot, although prior to what would be the hypothetical unification, he must beat Wilder in the trilogy between the two for a contractual matter.
“I just got off the phone with Daniel Kinahan (part of his promoter’s team). He just informed me that the biggest fight in British boxing history has just been agreed,” he said.
“So there we are, the Gypsy King against AJ is underway for next year, but there is an obstacle in the way called the Bronze Bomber (Wilder), also known as the King Knockout, and I will attack and hit him and then I’ll go up to the next fight, “added the unbeaten record 30-0-1 (21 KOs).
