The German coach highlighted the great season that the Egyptian is serving and said that his numbers “are crazy.”
Jurgen Klopp he’s delighted with the consistency he’s shown Mohamed Salah since he came to Liverpool.
The 28-year-old Egyptian signed at Anfield in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the best players in the world. This Wednesday, with his goal against Brighton, the former Roma reached 100 goals in which he was involved in the Premier, with 73 goals of his own and 27 assists.
“It’s incredible,” Klopp told reporters this Friday before the clash with Burnley on Saturday. “We wouldn’t be where we are if our boys didn’t consistently perform at such a high level. And Mo, of course, their numbers are crazy. They are outstanding numbers, world class numbers,” he added.
“No one should be surprised by his level, the boys show that week after week, we know it is something special, but there is a lot of work on it. If my players continue well, this will continue, and for a long time,” he closed.
Liverpool (92 units) is enlisting for the last four Premier League matches with the chance still intact to beat Manchester City’s all-time record for points (100 in the 2017-18 campaign).
