The Baltimore Ravens quarterback is annoyed by comparisons to his peer from the Chiefs, though he praises his qualities.
Lamar Jackson feel annoyed at the constant comparisons with Patrick Mahomes, although he recognized that he would love to have the strength of the arm that the stellar player of Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2019, the man of Baltimore Ravens succeeded Mahomes as the MVP of the Nfl at the same time that they agreed that both stayed with the award in their second season in the league.
His career as players and his presence as two of the best quarterbacks sparked a debate over who is the standout: ‘Jackson or Mahomes.’
In dialogue with Bleacher Report’s Take it There with Taylor Rooks, the Florida-born 23 years ago complained about the comparisons: “Yes, that’s annoying. We played soccer.”
“Two different teams. We have nothing to do with each other. We just play soccer. That’s all,” added the Baltimore quarterback.
When asked if there was any aspect of Mahomes’ skill set that he would like to possess, Jackson joked at the start: “None. I’m not trying to be him. I’m my own player.” However, he then reflected, “To shoot as far as he does, I want that cannon. He has a cannon arm,” he said.
