Despite being asymptomatic, the Californian was diagnosed with the disease and this invalidates her from climbing into the ring this Tuesday, the day the main contest will be starred by the undefeated Shakur Stevenson and the Puerto Rican Felix Caraballo.
“The rest of my team tested negative and everyone is in good health. I really wanted to fight for you again and I am disappointed in myself, my team, my fans and my opponent,” said Mayer.
