The grass season is short, with a game very different from that of other surfaces and a few weeks to accommodate one of the four Grand Slam tournaments. The undisputed on grass is Roger Federer.
The Swiss is the player with the most singles titles in history: 19 of his 103 trophies are on grass. Ten times Halle (the highest winner), eight times at Wimbledon (the highest winner) and once in Stuttgart. Queens is the cursed fact in His Majesty’s grass race.
He is also the player who won the most games on grass: 187 against 27 defeats, with a percentage of 87 percent. Specifically at Wimbledon, His Majesty has 101 wins and 13 losses, three of them in finals against Novak Djokovic.
The great milestone of Roger’s career on grass came between 2003 and 2008, when he was undefeated for 65 games, which was interrupted by Rafael Nadal in the mythical Wimbledon final, one of the best definitions in the history of a trophy of Grand Slam.
