Diego Simeone used the Colchonero to play the maximum competition of European football clubs.
Atlético de Madrid will be one more year in the Champions League with the dream of getting his first title, if not in the current edition. It is his eighth consecutive classification with Diego Simeone commanding.
The Argentine coach arrived in the middle of the 2011-2012 season and in each of the following eight seasons that he was able to play in full, he managed to qualify for the highest appointment of European football clubs.
The only teams that could also maintain this record in the continental tournament with the Colchoneros are Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
