At the start of the Styrian Grand Prix, the Monegasque Ferrari driver attempted a complicated maneuver in front of his partner Vettel that ended with both of them out.
The problems continue to appear in the 2020 season of the Formula 1 for Ferrari and this time one happened that had nothing to do with the mechanics of the car, but saw its two drivers involved.
And it is that, at the beginning of Styrian Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc tried to overtake his teammate Sebastian Vettel with a complicated maneuver and both cars touched to end off the track and the race.
On this, the Monegasque commented: “I apologized to Vettel. Obviously, at the moment there are no excuses that are worth it. I just feel very sad. I did a very bad job and disappointed the team.”
He added: “I am very sorry, although that is not enough and I understand it. I hope I can learn from these mistakes and come back stronger for the next races.”
