The Croatian defender will leave Anfield when the campaign ends and would continue his career at Russian Zenit.
Liverpool is ready to let go They leave Lovren this offseason and the Zenith Saint Petersburg appears among the favorites to keep his services.
The Croatian defender has been with the Reds since 2014, but is ready to leave Anfield in search of more time on the field. The 2018 World Cup finalist has made only 15 appearances in all competitions this season.
Reports from Russia suggest Lovren may be available on a free transfer, despite having one more year of contract with the Reds.
Roma is another club that might be interested in the left-hander and has just made an attempt last year to add it on loan. There have also been inquiries from at least two other Premier League clubs.
Should Lovren come out, Liverpool would be pretty short on defense. Van Dijk is fixed, but the other options are Joel Matip and Joe Gomez, two players with injury histories.
