The Rangers’ Dominican baseball player was excited to know that this MLB season he will play in center field.
Danny Santana prepares for the next season of the MLB in which he will again be part of the team of Texans Rangers. The Dominican player already knows where Chris Woodward will use him: he will be a center fielder.
“I am very happy with the plans for this season, because I should not focus on playing so many positions. It’s easier now that I have to focus on my position in the outfield, “Santana began saying to the press.
“I didn’t know what my position would be, but I was willing to do what the team asked me to do. But now that I will play in the central forest and my focus is there, I am happy with that, “he added.
In 2019, his first season with the Texans after his transfer from the Braves, Santana played 22 games in center field. In addition, he saw action in the rest of the defensive positions except pitcher and catcher.
Although he did not have a fixed place, the Quisqueyan signed an offensive line of .283 / .324 / .534 with 28 home runs and 81 RBIs.
