The American basketball player will not be present in Orlando with the Houston Rockets after he failed the test.
Looking ahead to the return of the NBA, Russell Westbrook, player of Houston rocketswill not go to Orlando on the initial trip because he tested positive for coronavirus, as reported.
Through his social networks, the American basketball player wrote: “I tested positive for COVID-19 before my team left for Orlando. Currently I feel good, in quarantine and wanting to rejoin my teammates when I’m free” .
In addition, he dedicated a few words of thanks to those who supported him and closed: “Thank you for the good wishes and continued support. Please take this virus seriously. Be safe. Mask!”
After a period of isolation, Westbrook will join his teammates for the NBA restart at the ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex in Florida.
