Relations between the Argentine striker and Independiente are not at their best and the footballer plans to leave the Red.
Before reaching Independent, Silvio Romero was close to reaching River Plate, since it was one of the wishes of Marcelo Gallardo. Despite that, he ended up calling the Red, although everything could change, turning the story around that could leave him at the Monumental.
And it is that the relations between the footballer and the Avellaneda club are not quite right, so the attacker commented: “I do not want to stay in a club where every four months I have to send him a letter document because they do not pay me “
And he added: “Socceristically I am in one of the best moments since I returned from Mexico, but today I am hurt because I know that an end of the cycle is approaching. If Gallardo called me, I would attend him.”
Finally, Romero closed: “I had the possibility to break my contract and go free, but I have a word and I re-signed a contract to continue being linked to Independiente. I have no intention of going free, I feel loved but I don’t know if I will be able to continue”.
These statements come in a context that could be useful for River Plate, since one of its forwards, Ignacio Scocco, left the club to play at Newell’s, so that the Millionaire and Marcelo Gallardo could see Silvio Romero as a replacement for level.
