The Norwegian coach is confident that his players will be able to get access to the next Champions in the two remaining games of the season in the Premier.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer asked his Manchester United to “step up and show personality” in his great goal of ending the season with a place next Champions League.
United’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, elevated the Red Devils to the point level with Leicester City, who with two dates to go has the Champions League ticket for best goal difference.
“We have to smile, we have to go into this as if we had earned it well. No one thought this in January, that we were in a top four cry,” the Norwegian told BT Sport.
“We’ve been doing fantastic since the restart. We have to smile, enjoy it, these are the games that matter at Manchester United. Now you have to step up and show your personality.”
Solskjaer was delighted with the game for United’s two goals, although he again asked his attackers to offer more moments of such quality: “The end was excellent, but also the accumulation with some quick and interchangeable passes, but we did not do it enough “
