Leo Borg, 17 years old and son of former world tennis number one and winner of 11 Grand Slam titles, Björn Borg, works out at Rafa Nadal’s academy, located in the Spanish town of Manacor.
The young promise of Swedish tennis Leo Borg has joined the Rafa Nadal Academy this week. Although his arrival in Mallorca was scheduled for a few months ago, it could not be done due to the health crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Leo has exercised these first days with intensity and enthusiasm under the orders of the technical team led by Toni Nadal and alternates training on the track with physical preparation in the gym.
Björn Borg visited the academy last year and donated to the Museum a shirt signed by all the players of the European Laver Cup team.
The shirt, signed by Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, Fabio Fognini, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Borg himself, is on display at the museum along with a racket from the competition donated by Federer himself.
