Since Roger Federer’s rehabilitation, much has been said that 2021 would be his last year on the ATP circuit.
But there are those who deny it: “Roger continues to love life on the circuit, I have never heard him say that he needs to leave it because he wants to change his life or that he is tired of traveling. Nothing can be ruled out, but seeing how he continues to enjoy tennis, I don’t think to retire in 2021. ” The words are from Severin Luthi, Swiss coach.
Speaking to Smash Magazine, he also mentioned Federer’s current physical condition: “The day after the operation, he was excited for a new stage in which he would spend time with his family. He has a unique ability to be very ambitious without that obsess or frustrate him when it does not occur. The truth is that the injury has come at the best possible time, and more seeing what was announced with the ranking, although that does not really affect him much emotionally. He is not a person who feels frustrated ” .
It should be remembered that Federer had a setback in his rehabilitation and therefore had to undergo a new arthroscopy in his right knee, after the recovery was not following the expected times.
