As time went by, the ATP stumbled upon unique talents in each of the Open Age epochs. From Roger Federer to Patrick Rafter there are 26 players who hit the top of the world ranking and at ESPN Tenis we review their names and how long they stayed at their peak.

1-Roger Federer (Switzerland): It remained for 310 weeks as number one and in 237 it did it consecutively. She finished the year 5 times at the top.

2-Pete Sampras (United States): It remained for 286 weeks as number one and in 102 it did it consecutively. She finished the year 6 times at the top.
