The Spanish has been fired from his position in the Principality as a whole, while speculation is growing that his successor would be the German Niko Kovac.

Monaco confirmed this Sunday that he has fired the coach Robert Moreno of his office.

The club said in a statement: “AS Monaco announces that the club has launched a procedure that led to the departure of Robert Moreno. The Spanish coach was informed of this at a preliminary meeting on Saturday.”

Meanwhile, Monaco Vice President Oleg Petrov said: “Our paths diverged earlier than expected, but I would like to thank Robert Moreno for taking on the challenge. Along with his staff, Robert has done his best to improve the team. , with enthusiasm and dedication of your time. I wish you all the best for the future. “

Following the departure of Robert Moreno, Monaco would have Niko Kovac, a former Bayern Munich coach, on file as his successor.
