Monaco announced the hiring of Niko Kovac as your new coach. The former technician of Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt signed a three-year contract with the club de la Ligue 1, to replace Robert Moreno.
“We are very pleased to welcome Niko to the club. This season marks the beginning of a new chapter for Monaco, with an affirmed sports orientation in line with the club’s goals.” Said club vice president Oleg Petrov.
He added: “Niko is recognized for his work in both national teams and clubs, in developing young talent, managing experienced players and the ability to achieve very good results. I am convinced that his experience and personality will help us to achieve our goals. “
Monaco finished ninth in Ligue 1 in the 2019-20 season, which ended early due to the impact of the coronavirus.
