The last date of the Second Division is in danger due to positive cases in Fuenlabrada

Six players from the team that is in playoff positions tested positive for coronavirus.

Alarm on Second division of Spanish football. Eight representatives of Fuenlabrada, six of them footballers, tested positive for COVID-19 and put in check all day 42, the last of the 2019/20 season.

The League already showed its stance of the complete suspension of the day because Deportivo de La Coruña – Fuenlabrada, which had to be played in Riazor, was crucial both for the playoff positions and for the fight for permanence.

The Federation, for its part, is contrary to the opinion of LaLiga and is in favor of the game and the game being played in its entirety, because it considers that Fuenlabrada has a sufficient number of players (14) to be able to play the game without the affected.

The expedition could return to Madrid on a plane chartered by the Xunta de Galicia with the exception of the asymptomatic footballers, who tested positive and traveled to La Coruña, who must either remain in quarantine in the city or return to Madrid by bus.
