Lautaro Martinez promised to give “110 percent” to Inter de Milan and to return the confidence transmitted in him by Antonio Conte, as speculation about his transfer to Barcelona picks up pace.
The name of the Argentine scorer has been sounding for months to change the Nerazzurro for the Catalan cast, two years after having landed in Italy from Racing Club de Avellaneda.
Inter Executive President Giuseppe Marotta emphasized that the 9 of the Albiceleste National Team is not for sale, as its € 111 million release clause expires earlier this month.
“I am a boy who always fights for my goals, for those of the team, for the happiness of the fans,” the 22-year-old soccer player told the Inter program on the day before Wednesday’s clash with Fiorentina.
“I always try to give 110 percent for this club, for all the people who love it, for the Inter shirt,” added the attacker who has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season.
And regarding his coach at Inter, Lautaro confessed: “Conte has given me confidence. That is something very important and fundamental, because he worked on the mentality of each one of us. I really appreciate it, every day it makes us grow.”
