The Premier champion showed one of his best versions in a goal show against the Blues.
Liverpool offered a great match at Anfield, worthy of the champion of the Premier League, with the 5-3 victory against a Chelsea who is at risk of losing his job for the next Champions.
At 23 minutes, Keita opened the scoring for the Reds with a powerful right hand yards from behind the area’s crescent that nailed to the blue corner. However, that was not all, as Trent Alexander-Arnold, at 38 ‘, took advantage of his punch and nailed a magnificent free kick that stopped Kepa.
Just five minutes later, Wijnaldum put the third with a right-footed shot at point-blank range. However, towards the end of the first half, Olivier Giroud took a rebound that was on the goal line and, throwing himself to the ground while being defended by an opponent, he managed to push the ball with his left foot to discount.
In the second half, the scoring show continued. First with Firmino, who scored again at Anfield after a perfect cross by Alexander-Arnold. Although after a while, Pulisic made a great individual move to assist Tammy Abraham.
But it did not end there, since the same South American footballer dispatched his double after receiving a cross from Hudson-Odoi, stopping it on the chest and, after a half turn, taking a shot from impossible to stop for Alisson. Despite that, Chamberlain cleared him at 84 ‘after a perfect counterattack.
While Liverpool enjoy the title, Chelsea had 63 points in fourth place, the last place heading to Champions, and has only one below Leicester, with only one date to close the season.
