West Bromwich tied against QPR and returned to the Premier League

The English league has two of its new entrants for next season alongside Leeds. After a tight definition, Albion will return to the top flight.

West Bromwich Albion equaled 2-2 before Queens Park Rangers and the ties of Brentford and Fulham allowed them to seal their return to the Premier League. After two years in the Football League Champioship, they will return to the top division of English football.

Albion depended on itself to finalize the promotion (it had 82 points, Brentford, 81, and Fulham, 80), the victory left its pursuers unmitigated, but QPR did not make things easier for them. 34 minutes into the first half, Ryan Manning looked excited for Brentford, who equalized against Barnsley while Fulham was being beaten by Wigan.

At the end of the first part, the heroes of the day came into action, Callum Robinson assisted Grady Diangana to put the game back on the table. And at the beginning of the complement, the formula would change, but not the result, the midfielder would be the one that would assist Robinson to take the partial advantage.

However, at 61 ‘, Eberechi Eze was hit with a ball from the defense, beat O’Shea’s back and placed the ball to the left corner to prolong the uncertainty. Still, by that time, Fulham had tied Wigan, and Brentford was in a similar situation with Barnsley, who would eventually be defeated in the end.

Albion failed to claim all three points but still managed to gain direct promotion after Fulham’s 1-1 draw and Brentford’s defeat (2-1) and will accompany Leeds United to the 2020-2021 Premier League. Meanwhile, Brentford, Fulham, Cardiff City and Swansea will compete in the playoffs for the third promotion.
