Umberto Marino, general manager of Atalanta, said that the teams that intend to add the Colombian in the offseason should put a large sum on the table.
In the last days it was known that Juventus and Atlético de Madrid are interested in adding to Duván Zapata for next season. And even a report indicated that Vecchia Signora had already made an offer of 50 million. However, the general manager of Atalanta, Umberto Marino, clarified that they will not sell it cheaply to the Colombian striker.
“Zapata is worth much more than 50 million euros. They have to increase their offer,” the manager told Sky Sport Italia. Likewise, Marino commented that it is still early to talk about a transfer.
“It is early to talk about it. We have to enjoy the Champions League and the rest of the season. He is doing well in Bergamo and I am happy that great international teams are watching him,” he explained.
The coffee player has scored 17 Serie A goals this season for an Atalanta that climbed to second place with Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Bologna.
