The meringue club could part with the Serbian after his negative season and the Principality club could be the best option in search of recovering what was invested by the Serbian.
The future of Luka Jovic in Real Madrid It is not entirely clear. The Serbian striker lived a first season in the Merengue team in which he made headlines more times due to the extra-sports scandals he carried out, especially during the pandemic, than for his goals.
Despite the bad season, the white club through the mouth of Zinedine Zidane always tried to defend the qualities of the Serbian publicly: first to try to improve his benefits if he stayed, but also not to devalue a player for whom he did little else. 60 million euros were paid in one year.
In this sense, some clubs are already knocking on Jovic’s and Madrid’s doors to offer him a way out: one of them is Monaco. According to L’Equipe, Niko Kovac, new coach of the Principality club, requested the hiring of the 22-year-old attacker, with whom he already coincided in the 2017/18 season at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Option as transfer or loan: it all depends on Ben Yedder
The operation in the form of a transfer could be viable if the Monegasque club sold the French striker, who closed the recent season as the top scorer in Ligue 1 with Kylian Mbappé. Thus, from the meringue side they will request to recover a good part of the investment they made. However, L’Equipe also points to the request for the transfer of Jovic if the former Seville also stays, since Kovac wants to have two level points.
As for a loan, Monaco would have no problem taking over the Serbian card, since the club has a favorable tax system in the Principality, which allows it to pay high salaries to its players.
