The Bolivian Federation appointed its interim president

After the death of César Salinas, the FBF made Marco Rodríguez official as the person in charge to take command of the entity.

He Executive committee of the Bolivian Football Federation met this Thursday and decided to appoint Marco Rodríguez as interim president of the sports institution until the next Congress.

“By majority vote, the first vice president, Marcos Rodríguez, was officially appointed by the Executive Committee as the acting president of the FBF,” the institution announced through its press department.

“The main task will be to provide, under the same line of work, commitment and dedication, continuity to the management that César Salinas has been developing, who leaves solid foundations and to make dreams come true, along with his Executive Committee, in the development of our football. For this, the highest authority provided legal representation to Rodríguez, “he added.

Three days after Salinas’ death, Bolivian soccer tries to get out of its bad moment and in that sense Rodríguez takes the post in the middle of the division of the first division clubs.

The next FBF Ordinary Congress, which could take place at the end of September, will decide who will take the new command of the sports entity until 2022. There are already candidates to assume that possibility, which are Grover Vargas from Wilstermann and Fernando Costa from Always Ready.
