The English midfielder, who joined the Reds in 2014 from Southampton, will leave the Anfield club after winning the Premier League.
The end of the relationship between Adam Lallana and Liverpool is around the corner and although it will go Anfield with the Premier League Under his arms, the English midfielder does not hide his sadness.
Regarding his departure from the Merseyside team, the footballer commented: “There is definitely a sadness, I have no doubts about that. I returned to Bournemouth over the weekend and was driving back, it is a long trip and you think a lot. I just want to enjoy this week the best possible. “
He added, “There are parts of me that are excited about my next challenge and I am close to knowing what is going to happen, so there is a mix of emotions right now.”
Finally, reflecting on his time in Liverpool, Lallana closed: “Leaving after having won four trophies is something remarkable, I still can’t believe it. Therefore, I think it is a good time to leave and finish my chapter here” .
