Both golfers are at the top only one shot ahead of Tony Finau. Furthermore, Brooks Koepka missed the cut.
A new day of 3M Open of the PGA Tour was completed and left the table with Michael Thompson and Richy Werenski sharing the top, only one shot ahead of Tony Finau.
The first two American golfers are tied at the top with 67 shots, while his compatriot is second with 66 and Talor Gooch closely follows with 65.
At the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, Finau made a successful 81-yard shot on the sixth hole, allowing him to be in this position, after finishing eighth in the Memorial Tournament.
Brooks Koepka, on the other hand, came as a surprise by missing the cut for the second time in three tournaments as he posted a par 71 to finish one below, missing the weekend by a shot.
Ranking number six has only a Top 10 in five tournaments since the PGA Tour season resumed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
