The team confirmed the arrival of Antonio Cordón to the sports management. Both have already worked in Villarreal.
This Friday, Real Betis has finished restructuring its new sports project for the coming seasons by announcing the hiring of Antonio Cordon as new sports general manager until 2024.
A few days before, the club had already announced the arrival, until 2023, of coach Manuel Pellegrini, who returns to the Spanish league after his successes in the past in Villarreal and Malaga and his fleeting experience of a season in Real Madrid. The Chilean had developed the last five years of his career in England, Manchester City and West Ham, and China.
Pellegrino is accompanied for this new experience by Antonio Cordón, the sports director with whom he already shared a project in Villarreal.
“With this important reinforcement, the Real Betis directives intend to endow the club’s sports area with the best structure to achieve the entity’s football goals and live up to everyone’s aspirations and wishes,” says the statement. .
