The Government of Great Britain is considering setting up a mandatory two-week quarantine for people from Spain.
While there didn’t seem to be much trouble for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League between Manchester City and Real Madrid at Etihad StadiumA new measure for the pandemic would change everything.
And everything seems to indicate that this match would not be played in England. This because the Government of Great Britain would establish a mandatory quarantine for people from Spain and no exceptions would be made for the Merengue team.
The duel must be played on August 7 and, although UEFA has not yet ruled on it, it seems that it will have no choice but to find a new venue. Of course, as was already thought in a moment and as it will be from fourths onwards, one option would be to play the clash in Lisbon.
