Aubameyang fought to the end for the Premier League’s Golden Boot, but despite reaching 22 points in the tournament, he remained in second place in the scorers table behind Jamie Vardy of Leicester (23).
Arsenal will not play international tournaments next season, but it still has a shot at a title in the current season. On Saturday August 1 he will face Chelsea at Wembley for the FA Cup final.
