The 29-year-old played for the Cincinatti team on Friday, in the first game against the Detroit Tigers.
Matt Davidson, of Cincinnati Reds, was placed on the disabled list 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus. The 29-year-old was in the starting lineup as a designated hitter during Game 1 of the MLB, Friday against Detroit Tigers.
Davidson, who was added to the 30-player roster at Cincinnati Opening Day, will require two negative tests at least 24 hours apart before he can play again.
The Reds lost 6-4 to the Tigers Saturday in a game that was played behind closed doors at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, amid the COVID-19 crisis.
