“Jurgen, fantastic. We are talking about Leeds rising to the Premier after 16 years, but Liverpool, 30 years since winning the league, is incredible,” the former Manchester United coach told Sky Sports News.

“I will forgive you for waking me up at 3.30 in the morning to tell me that you had won the league! Thank you, but anyway, you totally deserved it. Well done,” he laughed.
