The Bosnian defender joined the Reds from Southampton in 2014 and helped the Egyptian adapt to Merseyside after he left Rome in 2017.
Subsequently, the duo won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup and Premier League together at Anfield, so their period together comes to an end with one last outstanding period.
In the last two campaigns, the 21-year-old defender’s participation has been reduced to the point of having started in just 10 English league games, so he moves to Russian soil in search of greater continuity.
“I don’t know how to say it, my friend. You don’t know my feelings right now. We are really going to miss you a lot, especially me,” was the message Liverpool posted about Salah.
“You have been an amazing player and a great friend to me. We are going to miss you a lot. You have been fantastic on and off the field. Thank you for everything you did for the club, thank you for everything you did for me. I wish you all the best in the future and I also wish you have a great career, enjoying the new club with your family, “added the African.
