The Argentine striker from Manchester City will not recover in time to receive the white team for the Champions League.
Sergio Aguero was ruled out for the duel on August 7 between Manchester City and Real Madrid, in the rematch of the round of 16 Champions League, because of the injury sustained in the left knee.
“I don’t think it’s possible to have Agüero,” said Pep Guardiola, coach of the Citizens, regarding the Argentine striker who underwent surgery on June 24 after an infringement received two days earlier against Burnley.
Kun underwent surgery in Barcelona to treat the injury to the external meniscus of his left knee, under the supervision of Dr. Ramón Cugat. Despite not giving deadlines for recovery, it is estimated that Agüero could be without playing for two months.
City will receive Madrid on August 7, after having won 2-1 in the round of 16 played on February 26, before the coronavirus pandemic stops activity in the Champions League.
