The Texans defeated Indiana’s 118-111 on the final day of preparation. Thursday officially kicks off the NBA regular season.
On the last day of friendly matches before the restart of the 2019/20 regular season of the NBA in Orlando, San Antonio Spurs beat by 118-111 to Indiana Pacers.
The Texans, who have little chance of qualifying for the Playoffs in the eight games remaining in the season, had their two best players coming from the bench. Rudy Gay finished with 23 points, while young Keldon Johnson finished the game with 21. Demar DeRozan, the figure of the Popovich team, finished with 17.
For Indiana, which is fifth in the east with a mark of 39-26, its starting pivot, Myles Turner, author of 17 points and 10 rebounds, stood out. Malcolm Brogdon accompanied him with 12 units.
Thus, both teams put an end to their preparation duels. Now the official games are coming: the Spurs debut on Friday against the Kings, while the Pacers collide on Saturday against the 76ers.
