This was the statement released by the Boca Juniors man.
“As it is public knowledge, I am spending these days of social isolation in a field in the city of Maipú with all my family and complying with all the corresponding sanitary recommendations. That is why it is striking that I am attributed incorrect behavior from a photograph that is circulating on social networks and in various media. Such situation occurred in the framework of the request of some boys from the town who asked me for a photo to keep as a memory. As I am a common person and who always attends Friendly to the fans and fans in general, I did not want to refuse, even though they surprised me on my own ground, in a private and not public space.
As for the realization of a soccer game, I strongly deny having participated and I cannot even attest to the veracity of it. I had no other contact with the people that appear in the photograph other than those previously reported seconds. I deny those malicious information that put my person on a plane that threatens public health in general and my career in particular, since I am a professional soccer player who above all prioritizes my own health and that of the population as a whole.
