The hooker formed in San Luis, Agustín Creevy, says goodbye to Jaguares and will continue his career in European rugby – more precisely in London Irish, England -, after five seasons with the Argentine Rugby Union. There were 59 games and 16 tries in the franchise that militates in the Personal Super Rugby, for the experienced 35-year-old forward.
Speaking to the official Jaguares website, Creevy described his feelings: “It ends for me, an immensely positive stage, of enormous growth, unforgettable, that will fill me with pride for life, and that, without a doubt, I will miss a lot. More than five years ago I was invited by the Argentine Rugby Union to join a project, which from the beginning I did not hesitate to accept. “
In that stage in which he was a fundamental pillar, he commented: “Being part of, perhaps, the deepest transformation of Argentine rugby, was, is and will be for me, my highest pride, joy, and without a doubt, has meant the phase of my life with the greatest growth, and the happiest that I had to live as a rugby player. When all this unprecedented situation passes, I wish Jaguares to return to what it was, a resounding success and the possibility of bringing rugby closer to world first level to our people. ”
On his move to Europe and his future with the Argentine national team, he analyzed: “I want to continue wearing the Los Pumas shirt, the one I defended for more than fifteen years, the one I love and respect the most. I will do it as always, with all the passion and dedication he deserves. ”
