Bad news for Seville one week after playing the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. The Nervión club has announced that one of the players on its squad tested positive for coronavirus and is isolated at home.
The result was known last Monday and the club communicated it to the authorities and suspended training to prepare for the European match against Rome and disinfected all its facilities. For his part, the member of the squad, as the club clarifies on its official website: “is asymptomatic, in good health and is isolated at home.”
After learning the positive, the club has carried out two new PCR tests on players, the coaching staff and the rest of the staff, the first of which yielded negative results for everyone and awaits the results of the second tests that took place this Wednesday and which will be known on Thursday.
