New York’s ninth won 9-3 in what was the first game in Baltimore.
Baseball returned to Baltimore after the Marlins couldn’t play against the Orioles for the recent cases of COVID-19. But, unfortunately, it was not a triumph for the locals, but for the Yankees that, without major problems, they prevailed 9-3 in a new day of the MLB.
The ninth of the Big Apple was unstoppable at bat, with three home runs, and from the mound he had no major errors thanks to the work of Gerrit Cole. The pitcher added his 18 success and is now six from the record of Carl Hubbell, who in 1930 reached 24 consecutive starts without losses.
The Venezuelan Gleyber Torres went 4-0 as did the Dominican Gary Sánchez. The Yankees remain at the eastern tip of the American League, while the Orioles finished third in a championship that is just beginning.

In other results, the Mariners outscored the Angels 10-7, while the Giants suffered, but managed to beat the Padres 7-6. Likewise, the Twins shutout the Cardinals (3-0) and the Red Sox took revenge for the loss the previous day with the Mets and won 6-5.
