The fifth round of the Australian Super Rugby began with an entertaining duel between Force and Rebels. On Saturday, Brumbies welcomes the Reds and can be seen live on ESPN Play from 6.15am.

The Melbourne team added their second victory in the Super Rugby aussie by prevailing as a visitor and in overtime (new rule) in a match that stood out for how tight it was and for its definition in overtime. In the home owner, the tries were scored by Fergus Lee-Warner (27 ‘) and Byron Ralston (57’), while in Rebels the conquests during the 80 minutes came from the hand of Jordan Uelese (30 ‘) and Matt Philip (60 ‘). On the other hand, Jono Lance contributed ten points with his foot, Matt Toomua eight and Reece Hodge three. After finishing tied in 20 goals, the teams had to define the winner in overtime. Finally, with a try in the first extra minutes of Isi Naisarani (82 ‘), it was Melbourne’s team that celebrated the victory.
