Toronto was better than Miami in a duel between two greats from the East

In what could have been the preview of a Playoff matchup, the Raptors won 107-103 with a stupendous performance by point guard Fred VanVleet.

Toronto Raptors already almost destined to finish in second place in the Eastern Conference thinking about Playoffs of the NBA that start in a couple of weeks. But that doesn’t stop them from continuing to push themselves to the max in their remaining regular season games in the Orlando bubble.

This Monday, the Canadians again demonstrated why they are one of the great candidates to reach the Finals again after winning by 107-103 to Miami Heat.

The Raptors, who have signed a stupendous regular season despite losing Kawhi Leonard, the great figure of last year’s champion team, this time had the stellar participation of point guard Fred VanVleet, author of 36 points with seven conversions from the area of three points.

VanVleet, the base that arrived in the NBA without having been drafted in 2016, was well supported by the figure of the Raptors this season, Pascal Siakam, author of 22 units on one of the courts of the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.

On the side of Miami, which will seek to finish as high as possible in their conference in this closing of the regular season, they did not reach the 25 points of the Slovenian Goran Dragic.

That being the case, the Raptors remain undefeated in Orlando with two wins in the same number of submissions. Canadians are 48-18 with six matches left before the Playoffs. Meanwhile, the Heat have a record of 42-15, enough to be fourth in the zone.
