The 19-year-old winger had a great first season on the team led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and was awarded a contract that runs through 2024.
Brandon Williams signed a new contract with Manchester United that will keep him in the club until June 2024, with the option of extending it for another year.
The winger debuted in the first team in the Europa League in October and has since made 33 appearances for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer outfit in all competitions.
The 19-year-old had signed an agreement that extended until 2022 in October 2019, but his performances in this period were rewarded with a new and improved contract.
“Signing this contract is another moment of pride for me and my family. Having been with Manchester United since I was seven, it is truly a dream come true to be playing in the first team, “Williams said.
He added: “It took a lot of work to get to this point and it was really special for me to join the team. I learned a lot throughout the season from the coach, his coaching staff and my teammates, and I want to return the confidence that everyone showed in me. “
“I know everyone at the club is working very hard every day to achieve success for years to come and I am very excited to be a part of that,” the footballer concluded.
Solskjaer was impressed with Williams’ work ethic and contribution during the challenging 2019-20 campaign. “Brandon had an excellent first season, so we are delighted that he has signed a new contract. This new agreement is a true testament to their hard work and the progress they have made since their debut, ”said DT.
And he concluded: “Brandon never looked back after leaving the academy and going through the whole system, he understands what it means to play for Manchester United. He has all the necessary attributes to be a member of this exciting and young team. He will continue to learn every day in training and we look forward to seeing him develop in the coming seasons. ”
