The American-born footballer is eager to share a playing field alongside Chelsea’s brand-new brace.
Christian Pulisic has been impressed with the talent of Timo Werner since you saw him in training Chelsea. The American described the former RB Leipzig as a “very dangerous player.”
The blue team signed Werner on June 18 for a sum of 55 million euros. The German signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge after closing a season in which he scored 34 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions.
“He is a very dangerous player. I think he has qualities similar to mine and to some of the forwards we have,” Pulisic said for the London club’s official website.
“Obviously he is very fast and very good in front of goal. He seems to be a very humble guy. He wants to play on the team and he wants to do it with work. Playing against him has been a great experience and it will also be good to have him on my team. So I’m looking forward to that, “he added.
