The giallorosso team is willing to part with the Argentine footballer for free to lighten the costs of their squad.
One of the worst market contracts made by Rome in recent years it was that of Javier Pastore. The Argentine has racked up just 11 games this season and the Giallorossi club are now ready to let him out on a free transfer.
According to ‘Corriere della Sera’, Pastore will be on the list of players that those from the Italian capital will let out as free after the key against Sevilla for the Europa League.
Only 70 minutes the Argentine played since the championship resumed. Previously, he had made just nine appearances in Serie A – a disastrous season for a player for which Roma paid $ 24.5 million when brought in from PSG.
The final investment by the Argentine goes up to 40 million euros if the player’s net salary of 4.5 million until the 2023 season is taken into account.
For these reasons, the Giallorossi leadership is willing to let Pastore go at zero cost, just as Arsenal did with Mkhitaryan and Manchester United with Alexis Sánchez.
