The PSG coach is still unsure whether the French footballer will be able to see action against Bergamo in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Kylian Mbappé will be reviewed by the medical team of Paris Saint Germain before the game before Atalanta to see if he can go at least to the bench of substitutes in the game for the quarterfinals of the Champions League, confirmed this Wednesday Thomas Tuchel.
The young star of the Parisian team suffered a severe ankle sprain in PSG’s victory over Saint-Etienne in the French Cup final.
The first medical tests had ruled it out for the game against those of Bergamo, but the former Monaco has demanded himself in order to get to play, even if only for a few minutes, in one of the most important games in the history of the Parisian team.
Tuchel was asked about Mbappé’s availability before PSG’s friendly against Sochaux on Wednesday and could not share a definitive answer.
“About Mbappé, I have no idea,” Tuchel told beIN SPORTS. “He is working hard. We will see on Saturday with the doctors if it is possible that he is in the bank against Atalanta,” he added.
