Seville defeated Rome with Argentine influence and advanced in the round

Éver Banega and Lucas Ocampos were in charge of distributing the assists for the Spanish victory 2-0 against the Italians.

Taking a badge out of being one of the top favorites to keep the cup, Seville defeated 2-0 Rome at Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena of Germany and advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League.

The Spaniards showed the high level with which they finished LaLiga and put themselves in advantage at 21 minutes with the goal of Reguilón, who received from Éver Banega and went into the area to define with a left-foot shot that beat the goalkeeper Pau López.

However, that would not be all, since another Argentine was present in the result: Lucas Ocampos. At 44 ‘, the former River Plate escaped from a defender and, after reaching the baseline, he was not nervous about the goalkeeper’s departure and enabled En-Nesyri, who defined with the front arc and a few centimeters without opposition.

In the second half, the team led by Julen Lopetegui dominated the times of the match as well as the ball and did not pass too many shocks from Rome, who was not effective with the ball at his feet when attacking.

In this way, Seville entered the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League and will face the winner of Wolverhampton and Olympiacos. Thus, those of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán continue in the tournament career that has them as the maximum historical winners, since they lifted the title five times.
