This was stated by former Vecchia Signora midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi, who was not surprised by the Italian coach’s dismissal.
After being left out of the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16, the A series did not save Maurizio Sarri, who was fired from Juventus the day after the elimination against Olympique Lyon.
In this regard, the former Vecchia Signora midfielder, Alessio Tacchinardi, told TMW Radio: “Sarri always saw himself as a guest who did not feel comfortable at Juventus. At Napoli, he was a leader.”
He added: “I didn’t get any signal from Turin, but I don’t think this defeat was necessary for Sarri to be fired.” However, about the players he commented: “There were many who yesterday were in precarious conditions.”
Finally, Tacchinardi rescued the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo, before which he closed: “Juventus officially won against Lyon, but the only one who actually won was Cristiano.”
