The Frenchman made an excellent classification and surpassed his compatriot Fabio Quartararo in a surprising way.
This Saturday, and against all odds, Johann zarco took pole position for him MotoGP Czech Republic Grand Prix. The Frenchman made a masterful turn to overcome his compatriot and leader of the drivers’ championship on the starting grid, Fabio Quartararo.
One minute, 55 seconds and 687 thousandths, the record of Zarco who will come out first in a test of the highest category after two years.
Likewise, the Hublot Reale Avintia Racing team man ended Quartararo’s run of four first places, who won the first two starts of the season in Jerez and ended this Saturday against the asphalt.
Italian Franco Morbidelli was third, while Spaniard Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia) was fourth.
