The Sevilla coach analyzed Tuesday’s duel against Wolverhampton for the Europa League quarter-finals.
Julen lopetegui spoke in the preview of the duel between Seville and Wolverhampton for the quarterfinals of the Europa League. The coach of the Andalusian team knows it will be a difficult game, but he trusts his team.
“It is a complex team because of the way they compete and it will force us to play a great game. We must focus on ourselves, our work and our virtues. It is a team with many virtues,” said the Basque.
He added: “Roma and Wolves are nothing alike. Each game has a nuance. Nuno evolves at very important levels, he invested in players of the present and future, he is at a very high level.”
“It will be a very competitive game. The two teams will go to the limit and we have the healthy intention of putting on a good game. This format has a historical nuance, we have to adapt and compete with the best of mentalities,” he said about how suggestive the duel can be in the one-game format.
And he ended by mentioning the mentality of Seville in the previous one: “The team arrives with enthusiasm, with normal tension. The illusion is what has to guide us to overcome difficulties. We must adapt and compete with the best of mentalities.”
